Are there any websites that show the work of famous Venezuelan artists?

Greetings, here is Net Scourge again sharing websites from the net.Of course there is a website featuring great Venezuelan artists. You can check them out here at Wikipedia:

Great information there Net scourge. Kudos to you for sharing that link. Can you provide a more detailed information regarding those artists in the list?
Comment #3 Juno (63.176.159.226) - 05/18/09 14:53
Hey Dampir Blad give the guy a break will you. He already shared the wikipedia link here in the forum (which I think is not really that awesome since everyone can go search for it), it is now up to you to go research the names listed on the wiki. Honestly people try doing it on your own. Not everything you ask will be serve to you effortlessly, try working and searching hard for it. Google, Yahoo, and wikipedia are your best sources yet for reliable (and not so reliable) information.

I agree with Juno on this particular issue. I guess Net Scourge did his best to help Aaron who as well could have easily found the link had he been more vigilant. If Dampir is interested in pursuing the subject further, let him use the internet. Nonetheless, his input is awesome..he just did not stumble on the site..on this one Juno, you need to give us a break

I was exchanging notes with a friend of mine recently though in essence, we were not even reading from the same script. He was saying something to the effect that different things appeal to us and thus everyone is entitled to like and dislike a thing or two. I came across someone claiming that IT was not her thing and was requesting that anyone with passion should help her research on the net. That explains why some people would not for once think of searching for info online. It has to do with interest.

There should be a website if not an art gallery. Any country would be damned not to think of establishing something that showcases their variety in terms of art diversity.Indeed, if you really have need for something, you will go for it but then again, why do so when perhaps someone could be having te info you so much need? Remember, no pain no gain.
Ardios!

There was your break cwemoy, now where is the link? If you cant provide it the same way as the others unlike Naid then what are you here for? :)Enough of the fight, let us go back to the topic. I have to agree with Juno, when you are to look for something then do your part, do it yourself. If you cant, then that is the time to seek help, this is what i believe in.
Comment #8 Chiqui (63.176.159.98) - 09/26/09 22:27
So Genevieve had not even shared any relevant link while she was criticizing cwemoy over the matter. You can read lots of stuffs regarding Venezuelan art and the other country's as well. In that case i think this link would serve the purpose of orienting us some of the basics regarding Venezuelan arts, artists, work or arts, and much much more..
Here is the link that i was talking about.

Art is my love and my joy. Venezuela, I will be visiting shortly to see the culture that I can lay my eyes upon. I am almost certain that it would be gracious. I am the type of person that simply needs to see an art piece in the flesh in order for me to consider it as truly observed. Other than that, I would simply consider it as a piece that I have glimpsed.

There certainly are lots of information regarding the Venezuelan artists on the net. All you have to do is to search their name on some of the top search engines and you are on your way to discovering them. Sometimes, if we can do something without any help then we should do it on our own. And when the time comes when we really need to have some help, that is the time when we ask for them. Smile :)

Venezuela has some cool artists, but I am considering learning more about their sculpting skills, rather than the usual fine art skills.
