Some people obvious encountered some defective school throughout their younger years! And what do you know... the IP address of the original poster here comes back to "Salem-Keizer Public Schools" in Salem, Oregon. Obviously if that message is all their students can utter the school board ought a look at dissolving the district.
That goes for the first reply too, coming from the "Grand Rapids Public Schools" (in Michigan).
I feel truly sorry for the future of the world when the public educational institutions give us students with such poor communications skills. I think we'd be more successful understanding them if they simply grunted.
So let's have a grunt in at the respective school board meetings and then seek court orders dissolution of both school districts.

Wow Jimmy, I think you speak for all of us who arrive at a forum with plenty to say and then encounter something like those posts.
The state of the school systems I believe is directly related to the President's stupid No Child Left Behind program.
I have four school age children and every student, teacher and administrator I have spoken to are appalled at the program and what it has left our teachers to do within the classroom. Kids are not taught the fundamentals any more. They are taught to take a multiple choice test and what is on the test so that the school can assure good results. If they don't get good results, the whole school system suffers.
There is NO WAY that every child is going to be able to perform up to the standards of those tests. So why spend all of the time teaching the few to perform at a standard level, while the rest of the class gets to learn nothing! That is why you have students with the capabilities shown above.
